Find The Best Adsense Keywords

One of the best things about Google Adsense is that there are just so many ways in which you can use it to make money online. Many people give Google quite a bit of slack for dominating the market and being too ‘big and corporate’, but I feel that Google has opened up doors for so many people to make money online.

Finding the best Adsense keywords is critical in having any success and regardless of your strategy, your keywords is of cardinal importance. Adsense is all about keywords and keywords are all about profitability. When it comes to Adsense and finding the best Adsense keywords, it's important to remember that not all keywords are created equal. Although some keywords might be very popular, they might not bring you any returns if you target them with your Adsense campaigns. Similarly, a keyword can have a very high cost per click (CPC) but not generate enough traffic to actually get any clicks.

If you are playing the Adsense game then it's all about balancing the amounts of click you get and the cost per click. Getting a decent amount of clicks from keywords with a good (not necessarily the highest) cost per click you can greatly improve your profitability and your Adsense earnings..

Finding the best Adsense keywords is not the easiest task in the world. Unfortunately, testing is the best way to find out, but certain software packages can greatly improve your profitability. If you are serious about earning a full time income from Adsense then you simply cannot afford to go without software like Keyword Elite which is probably the most powerful piece of software for this purpose.

The way I use Keyword Elite is to 'spy' on websites that look like they are doing well with Adsense. I try to sniff out the top Adsense guys' websites and then use Keyword Elite to see which keywords they are using. What makes Keyword Elite so powerful is that it would allow you to see just how long a specific website's been doing what it's doing. It is likely that if an Adsense site has been using the same strategy for more than six months then it is likely that they are making money from it.

Finding the best Adsense keywords is all about that golden balance between traffic and cost per click. Getting a lot of clicks from a cheaper keyword can be more profitable than getting only a couple of clicks from a more expensive one. Going for cheaper keywords has some added benefits though. Most people go for the expensive keywords and these markets tend to be so crowded that it's virtually impossible to get in there. As soon as you go down just a little, you can greatly improve your chances of success in less competitive markets.

When choosing keywords, one of the main considerations is the amount of traffic you can funnel to your site. Keep your niches very tight at first and focus on highly targeted traffic. Start tight and expand from there. If you are using Adwords to drive traffic to your Adsense site then it's virtually impossible to make it without the appropriate software. Once again, Keyword Elite is probably the best bet and I would recommend that you incorporate some kind of tracking software. It is incredibly important that you track your results.

In any given campaign 80% of your profit will come from 20% of your keywords. The key to profitability lies in trimming the fat and removing those keywords that cost you money without bringing decent returns.

For anyone first starting out with the Adsense and Adwords game it might at first seem impossible to make any money from it. It seems like the returns just never justify the expense. Only when you start to 'trim the fat' can you really start to make money with this method. Adsense websites don't really make that much money, but the fact that you can easily scale the process makes it so powerful. Having 50 Adsense sites each earning you $100 a month is $ 5 000 a month - meaning you can quit your day job.

You can easily get sucked into finding the best Adsense Keywords and spend hours looking for and contemplating as to which Adsense keywords to go for. Don't! On average you will make the same from a high CPC keyword as you would from a lower one. Once you factor in the traffic, the competitiveness and the cost of getting traffic to your site it can get very complicated. Just pick one and do it. That is the important thing. In the end, the best Adsense keywords are the ones that you actually use and do something with.

Tips for Choose A Web Hosting

If you are looking for a web hosting provider to host your website or blog, there are several features that you should consider before purchasing the cheapest package you can find. Not all web hosting providers offer the same services for comparable prices. You need to carefully scan each offer and look for the features that you require to host your website.

1. Disk Space

Disk space, or web space, is the term used to describe the amount of information that you can store via your web hosting account. Whether you'll be using HTML, images, sound or video files, they all take up disk space from your web hosting account.

Now-a-days, even the cheapest shared web hosting packages offer plenty of disk space to host your site. Do not settle for less than 1 gigabyte of disk space even if you don't need it. Most web hosting providers offer their clients hundreds of gigabytes at incredibly cheap monthly fees.

2. Monthly Transfer Volume

The monthly transfer volume, also known as bandwidth, is a term used to describe the amount of information that your particular web hosting account can receive and send during the month.

Most web hosting accounts will give you many Gigabytes of bandwidth per month. The more traffic your website receives, the higher your bandwidth will be. Keep an eye on this traffic. If it gets close to your monthly limit, consider moving to a higher web package that offers a higher monthly bandwidth.

Web hosting providers that offer a high starting bandwidth means that you'll be able to stay in that plan longer which is a benefit to you. Most good web hosting providers will offer bandwidth in the range of 250 Gigabytes to over 1 Terabyte of monthly traffic.

3. Linux vs. Windows Hosting

Most beginner web hosting packages will offer Linux based web hosting simply because it's often cheaper for them to run. However, Linux is an extremely fast and reliable operating system. Most Linux systems run the Apache web server which accounts for over 50% of the Internet's web hosts. It does not matter that you are creating your web pages on a Windows PC. They can be hosted on a Linux server without any problems.

Window web hosting is ideal for those requiring Active Server Pages (ASP) functionality or need better integration with Microsoft SQL server.

Linux plans normally tend to be slightly cheaper, which is why you'll see more of them around. This is probably your best option unless you have specific requirements that only a Microsoft server can meet.

4. Web Databases

Whether it's a MySQL or Microsoft SQL database that you need, make sure that the web hosting plan you purchase has access to some. Even if you don't need it initially, you may need it in the future and most beginner hosting plans offer at least access to one database in their packages. Plan ahead and save yourself headaches later on as you expand your website.

These databases have a wide variety of uses. From storing proprietary information for your company to forming the back-end storage for blog add-ons such as Wordpress or Joomla, you will need to have access to a database to make these features work.

5. e-Mail Space and POP3 / IMAP Access

If you want a professional appeal for your site, an e-mail account with your business name is vital. This shouldn't be too much of a problem since most web hosting packages now give you access to POP3 and IMAP accounts to setup for your business use. Just make sure there are enough accounts for each employee who needs access to e-mail on your business site and that there is enough web e-mail space for all those combined users. E-Mail space is usually quoted as a separate listing from web space. Pay close attention to what the web hosting provider gives you since this space is divided up between all allocated e-mail users.

6. Free Website Plug-In Scripts

These are scripts that are available for you to automatically install as needed. Most web hosting companies use the Fantastico Deluxe set of scripts. Some of the scripts included are: Wordpress, Joomla, PHP Nuke, Help Center scripts, Polls and Survey software, Guestbooks, and Form-mail scripts to name a few.

The automation allows for very simple integration with your website. Many of these products are very powerful and robust packages, so this is an excellent add-on to have available.

7. Secure Shell (SSH) Access

Being able to log into your web hosting account and make changes from the command line to your web pages is an incredibly convenient feature. However, power users will benefit the most from this option since some knowledge of the underlying operating system, Linux, is required to navigate easily.

Not all web hosting providers offer this service, so if you feel you may need it, make sure to find out ahead of time whether or not it's available. Some offer it free as part of the package, others have it listed as a paid add-on.

Getting backlinks for your website and/or blog isn’t easy tasks. You will need plenty of time finding high quality backlinks (At least if you want to research those backlink-ngers site for yourself.

It’s a public secret that most of SEO’s (search engine optimization) success key is from backlinks and even more important is plenty of one way link heading to their site or blog.

The more backlinks you can get for your blog, will raise your blog popularity by automatic and will get you a better position and ranking in search engine results page. And you can imagine when yoursite stay in the first page of popular keywords search result such as “home business” or “affiliate” keyword.

It’s not just about backlinks, the more important is you have and must find backlinks from quality website and have the same theme as your site or blog.

For an example if your site is about football then you might want to exchange link with football theme or sport theme website and blog. This will raise your SERP (search engine ranking postision) and the quality of your website.

But if you exchange link with spamming site, your search engine ranking quality will get lower since spamming site does not have quality content and you will be draged with them into low quality site - which means your site is also a low quality site.

And search engine will also measure your link, how you get linked, is it in the blog content part, link exchange or known also as blogroll, or other..

If your site linked from a blog that doesn’t have anything to do with keyword spamming (means high pagerank mostly) or your site linked from page without reciprocal link and has few outbound links on that page it seems that your site is relevant and most likely it will have good ranking in search engine results.

6 Ways Make Money Online With Affiliate Marketting Programs

So many affiliate programs out there - which one really works? It may seem a difficult question to answer and once you start looking through the affiliate websites, you may get lost in a sea of attractive promises. How do you then decide which is the best one for you and how to make money online with affiliate programs?

Make money online with affiliate program has become an extremely popular source of making money on the internet. The basic idea of affiliate marketing is based on links. You put up links on your website to lead traffic to another website. If they make a purchase from the site, you get a percentage commission.

1. Payout rates and Payment Structure

Some affiliate programs are single tier ones while others have multiple tiers. This means that if anyone you referred to the program makes a sale, you get a commission from there too. To make money online with affiliate program, try and look for such an affiliate program, as the payout will be higher. You must also check out the program's payment structure before joining. Always look or a program that pays a high rate of commission.

2. Reliability

An important aspect to consider is reliability. Run a few quick searches and check how reliable the website is, its credibility etc. Also see if it pays on time, frequency and if it clears its dues fully.

3. Upfront fees

Affiliate programs that charge a registration fee or any upfront payment are best avoided. C'mon - if you went looking out for a job, you wouldn't pay the employer to allow you to work! Another advantage is that you can opt out if it doesn't seem to suit you. Those who talk of refunds usually drive you crazy before they return your money, if at all. A company confident of working well will definitely not charge you anything.

4. Statistics

Look for an affiliate program that gives you a clear and comprehensive statistics page. You should be able to view your statistics 24/7. A good statistics page will show you the number of clicks you have received, where the majority of clicks are originating and how much cash you have earned from your links. The system should be transparent and your stats should get updated immediately.

5. Conversion Rates

Look into the conversion rate of the affiliate program. This will give you an idea of how many people actually make a purchase after clicking on the link. For example, a conversion rate of 1% implies that for every 100 visitors who clicked on the link, the website made one sale. 2% is a reasonably good conversion rate. Be wary of those who claim to have abnormally high conversion rates, as more often than not, they are scams.

6. What the site sells

All said and done, a key factor and narrowing down your list of affiliate programs is the product or service that the website offers. What is it? Will people pay for something like that? Only if the product or service is impressive, will people shell out money and actually buy it.

A reliable affiliate program can turn out to be a great source of easy income for you. To make money online with affiliate program, it requires no long hours, no angry bosses, no traffic snarls to get caught in - what more could you want?! If you've found a good affiliate program with a high conversion ratio and a reliable payout rate, half your battle is already won. Now you just need to sit back and watch your money tree grow!

Secret Make Money with Paid Online Surveys

.

So, you thought you would try to make some money by taking paid online surveys. What's the first thing you do? Of course... perform a Google search on the term "paid online surveys." If you try this technique, you will find that almost 500,000 (yes, half a million) pages will be returned for your viewing pleasure. Try the same search without the quotation marks, and the number will explode to more than 25 million. With all this information available, much of it contradictory, how can you possibly know where to start?

As you would find by checking out a few of those search results, there are countless organizations offering you information on taking online surveys. Most of these companies are not the actual businesses collecting the market research, but they are companies who have created huge databases full of information about those businesses and the surveys they are performing. These organizations would like to share their databases with you, for a "small" membership fee.

So the question is, do you want their information, or would you rather go it on your own? In my opinion, your answer to this question should be a resounding YES! Not only will having access to a survey information database save you hours of research you would otherwise have to do yourself, but if you've chosen a good organization to align yourself with, you will find further excellent information, such as the time the survey will take, the exact compensation, specific requirements, and more.

Therefore, the key to a good experience with paid online surveys becomes choosing a survey organization with an excellent database. You want to find a company who puts concentrated effort into making sure their information is accurate and up-to-date. It is also very useful if you are able to sort and filter your query responses by the amount and type of compensation offered for the survey (cash, points, gift cards, etc.).

You will also be concerned with the amount charged for the membership. It is most common for these companies to charge a one-time, lifetime membership fee ranging in the neighborhood of $30-$60, but it is not unheard of for them to offer other fee structures, such as a moderate sign-up fee, followed by a recurring monthly charge for as long as you remain a member. If you are serious about pursuing an income with paid surveys, I would highly recommend the one-time fee, as the monthly charge can accumulate quite quickly.

In conclusion, if you are sincere about earning an income by participating in paid online surveys, then your key to success is in choosing an excellent survey information database. This knowledge will enable you to make the best choices about survey opportunities to pursue, in order to meet your time, schedule, and income goals.

Techniques of Search Engine Optimization for your Blog ( part 2 )

.

Let's look at how you optimize your website both on and off the page.

SEO: On-Page

In order to get your site listed higher in the search engines with out paying a dime, use effective web design:

Tags

On every webpage there is a place for you to add meta tags - a webpage element that displays information about the webpage such as webpage title, keywords, and description. This information is not seen on the webpage itself, but is in the source code; this helps the search engines understand the key points behind your webpage. You can view the meta tags for any webpage by right clicking on the webpage and selecting "View Source" or "View Page Source." Towards the top of the source you'll see several tags for title, keywords and description.

When creating your webpages be sure to add tags for the following:

• Title Tags: Indicate the title and subject of a webpage while blending keywords in the text.

• Description Tags: Indicate the description of a webpage. Your description may appear in the search engine's results, so make sure it conveys your value as quickly as possible and blend keywords into the description.

• Keyword Tags: Indicate the main keywords for the webpage. They should be separated by a comma, NOT a space. For example, if you are optimizing for "fried chicken recipes," "fried chicken gravy" and "fried chicken meals" you would enter them as follows: Fried chicken recipes, fried chicken gravy, fried chicken meals. Don't add more than 5-10 keywords in the tag. I generally use between one and five, and prefer to get on with more important tasks.

Keywords

Not only will you use keywords in your keyword tags, but also throughout your webpage.

• Headers and Subheaders (also known as your H1 and H2 tags): In web design, there are six headers labeled H1-H6. The higher the number, the less important it seems to the search engines. Think about it: a page with "Fried Chicken Recipes" as the main headline, and mentioned in several sub-heads is probably likely to be about... you guessed it, fried chicken recipes. The search engines think the same way. Ensure you use only H1 and H2 for your keywords.

• Image Descriptions: Make sure to enter image descriptions and keywords in the "alt" tag for all the images on your website.

• Use Keywords Text as Links: Instead saying "click here" use a keyword such "fried chicken recipes". This is known as "anchor text" and is one of the most important parts of SEO. Wikipedia is one of the most optimized websites in the world, and is a great resource to emulate. Every page is full of rich, original content with dozens of keyword optimized anchor text linking to other pages, which in turn link to other pages, and so on.

• Name your Webpages with Keywords: Give your webpages descriptive names with keywords. For example, instead of naming a webpage "guidebook," try "fried-chicken-recipes-guidebook." Use dashes "-" to add space between the keywords.

• Increase Keyword Density: The more frequently your keywords are used on your webpage, the better. Try to keep your keyword density under 3%, as any more than this can be seen as abuse. As Google states repeatedly, create websites for users, not search engines.

• Design Your Keywords: Not only do you want a lot of keywords in your text, you want to style them bold, italics, and underline. Do this throughout the text.

• Keyword Placement: Put the majority of your keywords at the top and bottom of your webpages, as this is where search engines place the most emphasis.

• Stem Your Keywords: Instead of repeating the same keywords over and over, use a variation of those keywords. For example, for the keyword "search" you would also want to incorporate searches, searching, searched, etc.

Navigation

• Every Page Links to the Homepage: Create a navigation bar on all webpages so the user can get to the homepage. If you have a large website with multiple webpages, consider using a HMTL template to make this process easier. Remember to use applicable keyword anchor text for each link.

• Internal Links: You can improve your website's SEO rankings by linking webpages within your website. Remember, it's important to use the applicable keyword as your anchor text.

• Concise Navigation: When designing your website, never bury webpages more than two folders deep. A user should not have to click more than two times to find what they need or get back to the homepage.

Sitemap

In order for Google to "crawl" or scan your website, you need to create a site map and upload it to Google.

• To create a sitemap, the XML Sitemap Generator.
• To upload your sitemap to Google Webmaster Central.

Google Webmaster Central is the best free resource to help you understand how and why your website is showing up in search results. Using this tool, you can determine how many other websites are linking to yours, what keywords your website shows up for, and any problems Google is having crawling and indexing your site.

The webmaster tool is not updated as often as people would like, which means you may not see results right away. This doesn't mean that websites are linking to you; it just isn't showing up in their reports just yet. Be patient!

Another common concern is when a website suddenly has far less pages indexed than before. If your pages contain original content and are listed in your sitemap, they won't be de-indexed. So why do the number of pages fluctuate? People tend to think of Google as one computer in one location, when it's actually thousands of servers in locations around the world. Information takes awhile to update across the system, so you may be getting reports from a server in California on Monday, then a completely different report from Virginia on Tuesday. Remember, patience is a virtue.

SEO: Off Page

Now that we've covered what you can do on your own website to improve your SEO, it's time find other websites that will link to you. Linking has really become the name of the game in SEO these days and rightfully so. In the past, search engines would look more at a webpage's content alone, where now they take into account how many other people find that webpage (or website) useful. The more websites that link to yours, the more valuable you to appear to be to users and the more likely you'll rank high for your keywords.

Of course, a thousand links from small websites aren't nearly as valuable as one link from a highly trusted authority site. This is true in the offline world as well: an economics professor from Harvard who has been interviewed on CNN will be held in higher esteem than a junior college professor who's conducted a thousand interviews with college radio stations.

When a search engine examines your site, they take into account the quantity and quality of other websites that are linking to your website. Think of each link as a vote for your website; the more votes from trusted sites, the better.

Baby got Backlinks

So how does one find these high authority sites and convince them to link to your website? There are several methods at your disposal:

• Google Alerts will automatically update you on related sites to your niche, as well as any breaking news.

• Trusted Publications can provide you with a list of highly respected sites in your field. For example, if you run a travel site, search for "25 Best Travel Sites." Contact as many of these as you can and request a link. Of course, you should give them a damn good reason why they should. I'll look at each website and see if they accept proposals for writing projects. If they do, and provide links to the author's website, I'll contact them with a proposal. This method is a win-win-win: the authority site receives a quality article, our website receives a valuable backlink, and we receive traffic from people who have read the article and are interested to learn more.

• Directory Submissions: List your website with as many high Page Rank directories as possible. Google has mentioned this is no longer as important as it once was, so don't knock yourself out submitting to hundreds. Pick 50-100 and crank it out one afternoon. Two stand out among the rest and deserve special mention: Dmoz (which is free, but damn hard to get into) and Yahoo Directory ($295, pretty easy to get into after that).

• Article Directories: Write an article your market would be interested in, and submit it to the article directories with a backlink to your site at the end of the article. When other websites republish your article your backlink will appear on their site as well (like this one).

• Bait People: Create pages that are of such incredibly high value people can't help but link to them. This is known as "link-bait" and is a very popular method of promotion among bloggers. Choose a topic most people struggle with and write about it to death. Provide a comprehensive guide to a hot topic (e.g. Firefox extensions, fried chicken cooking methods, airport taxes, whatever), and authority sites will eventually see it and link to you.

SEO is a huge topic, but by following these simple tips you should be able to see some results. Remember, SEO takes time, but it's well worth it.
